  The English language is gaining popularity in day-to-day life. We can understand this when more than 25 per cent of people in the world at least know the language. Many students learn their coursed in English as it emerged as a universal language. It helps get jobs anywhere and to meet and interact with people globally. 

For all these reasons, people are expressing interest learn the English language. Many people worry about better their speaking skills in English.

1. Make mistakes 

You heard right! Always remember that you aim to convey the message to others rather than speaking proficiently. So don't concentrate much on your words while speaking. If you commit a mistake, you can learn from it.

2. Create English speaking environment

The best thing to practice English is to create an atmosphere to engage people or be in such situations. Make every situation into your purpose of speaking the English language.

3. Listen carefully

The stepping stone to speaking is listening to others or podcasts. The more you listen, the more you speak. When you listen to any podcast in English, don't strive to understand it. Just listen to it. As time and practice grow, you will understand more.

4. Watch TV shows and movies

You will catch short responses and fixed phrases in English from watching TV shows and movies. At the next level, attain pronunciation.

5. Read everything in English

Though sources are available in your mother tongue, try to read or get information in English. Reading stories in English for elementary kids is a beautiful way of gaining vocabulary. 

6. Attend webinars

When you get confidence in speaking English, it is better to take the next step to attend webinars.

7. Hire a personal tutor

Hiring a private language tutor and talking to him regularly for 10 minutes boosts your speaking skills to the next level.

8. Listen to only English music

In the beginning, select a playlist of melodious songs to catch the tune and meaning. 

9. Load your phone with apps 

Load your phone with apps that help you to improve your speaking. Till you attain a certain level of proficiency, this keeps your spirit up to continue your efforts. Remember, apps alone cannot help you to build yourself. They supplement your needs.

10. Practise tongue twisters 

As a native speaker, you won't feel any stress on your jaws while speaking your mother tongue. You may feel some pain in your jaw while speaking English. Tongue twisters help you to reduce jaw ache. Moreover, this leads to the proper pronunciation of words in English.

11. Find fixed expressions

Learn some idea units to ease your speaking from time to time. It makes your conversation lively.

12. Talk at an event

 Whenever there is any event, try to mingle with new people and interact with them in English. You may talk about your life and job life till you feel comfortable.

13. Too much grammar

Don't focus on too much grammar. To know all grammar is unnecessary, as you don't take any academic exams around the corner.

Learn a new word with its usage and try to use that word for the whole day to become your own.

To spread a good amount of English, you need not know all the words in a dictionary. As a beginner, you should know the keywords 3000 from any dictionary. These keywords are recognisable in any good dictionary.

While sending messages, speak your text instead of typing them. It gives you an opportunity of speaking.

Every day write a diary entry of that day's events. It may not help you to speak directly, but someday you want to express your experience to someone. It indirectly helps there.

Practice some conversation starters to make your speaking easy. It builds your confidence too.

22. Have your speech in writing

If you are going to speak in front of everyone on any occasion, it is better to have everything in writing. It doesn't waste your time on unwanted details.

23. Record a book

Take a short book you like the most in English, and record the whole book in your voice to make an audiobook of your own. It allows you to measure your pronunciation and helps increase your listening skills.

24. Think in English

Whatever you think, you think only in English. Don't translate your thoughts from your mother tongue. It is one of the most powerful ideas to learn to speak.

25. Set goals

Plan your progress and work accordingly to see the improvement fast. Your goals should be measurable and practicable. You gain nothing when your efforts are low,
